Antwan André Patton, better known by his stage name Big Boi, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is best known as a member of the hip hop duo Outkast, alongside André 3000. Big Boi has released six solo albums, including his most recent album "Boomiverse" in 2017. He has collaborated with various artists including Missy Elliott, Janelle Monáe, Killer Mike, and Sleepy Brown. He has also ventured into acting, making his debut in the film "ATL" in 2006 and has since appeared in several films and television shows. Big Boi is known for his Southern rap style and his contribution to popularizing hip hop from the South. He was born on February 1, 1975 in Savannah, Georgia, but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
